My front coils squeak over every bump or a bumpy road. this is mildly annoying. is there a way to maybe lube the coils or something to stop the squeak?

I got a 98 with the same issue (second time around with this issue actually, due to shotty mechanic... knew i should've done it myself :pissedoff: ) but i believe your issue is in the control arm bushings/upper and lower ball joints... i plan on fixing my issue when the $ comes around myself with new complete upper and lower control arm assemblies and while i'm at it all the sway bar bushings... then just get an alignment done by someone that knows what they are doing. Hope this helps but if i'm wrong i do appoligize and i'm sure i'll be corrected..

i would also suggest checking your sway bar link bushings and bar bushings and try spraying some lithium grease into the control arm bushings. my trucks both squeak, but i believe my noises are due to the polyurethane bushings that ive got on everything.

I normally spray the crap out of everything with "SIL-GLYDE" from NAPA. It is a great lubricating compound.

silglyde is a great silicone lubricant, i wouldnt hesitate to buy an aerosol can of it if i could find it anywhere. i bought a big tube for brakes and i also use it for the bearings on my mountain bikes, much smoother rolling than wheel bearing grease.

this sounds good. I will spray down my entire front suspension! The thought of it maybe being my balljoints scares the hell outta me though. I got a quote(just in case) to have my lower done for $374, is that a good deal?
