Squatting vehicles, proposed/new law

That chevy was actually a local truck, lancaster sc. 20 minutes from me. It was horrible. I've personally seen him pulled by d.o.t. on highway 5 (popular 18-wheeler rt to pulp mill) twice.

The kids around here call it the Tennessee tilt. I call it flat out ugly. You see this idiots hanging out a window like my old dog to see where they are going. My buddy says if you squat you truck you probably squat to pee too haha.
Tennessee tilt is my new word for drinking whiskey.

When I had airbags I'd drop the rear and drag my bumper but i would pump them back up shortly after... but this shiznit is redickerous! Not safe and these guys round here doing it open headers dumping out behind front wheel fire balling down mainstreet first gear, hope they can afford the burned valves... lol sorry gents closed

I also hate the 10 inch exhaust tips. What the hell purpose do they serve except making rear of truck look like doo doo haha

Lancaster. Haha! Used to live there. Lived in Palmdale, Lancaster and for a short time Rosamond. Glad I gtfo of CA when I had the chance. Lived there from 77 to 02. It was great, up until about 86 or do. Then it all went to hell in a handbasket. But yeah, even back then, I used to see trucks dragging their rear bumpers. See them here occasionally. Not often, once a month or so. About the same frequency as spotting a tesla.

$70,000 for that abomination? Wow. That truck just makes you ask multiple questions involving the word why.

It's internet car lot, they are probably just thrilled they have a vehicle without a salvage title...

I liked the paint job/wrap until I realized it was red realtree camo. At first I thought it was "cracked" lava. Or something cool

Average decent homes out there are $500k+ now. You should see the traffic jam coming down 14S/5S in the morning, and going back up 5N/14N in the afternoon. Handbasket of hell indeed.

Here's the truck on whistlindiesel

The whole squatted truck fad came from baja racing. The baja trucks are squatted in the rear to help the rear of the truck sit down before the front for jumps. Essentially it keeps the truck from nose diving and flipping. Californa lean, Tennessee tilt, Carolina squat. Either way it's all way more dangerous than a lifted/leveled truck or lowered truck. Also the headlights blind everyone.

For some reason it makes me think of this:

Had to have a guy on on the wing to direct the pilot what to do when they couldn't do the usual S turns during taxiing with tail dragger aircraft.
