i got the chevy procomp lift springs. they have a 3/8 center pin in them. the spring perches on my 9" have 5/8 holes in them. anyone have any suggestions? i don't want to drill out the leafs and i've heard of people grinding down bolts to get this, i was just wanting to buy an actual pin

ok, i may be having a major brain-fart here, but....

isn't the hole in the perch supposed to be larger than the hole in the springs? the HEAD of the bolt for the springs should be larger, to fit in the perch hole.

Make sure you have the bolt in the right way, like mentioned above.

Are the perches loose or on the axle?

If they're loose you could weld the hole closed, grind it flush, and drill it out for the correct size.

they are off the axle. the pins are in right. maybe i am making this sound harder than what it is. basically what i am looking for is a 3/8 pin with a 5/8 head to fit in the hole.

i'd like to keep from modifying anything. i may have something at work that i can weld up and make my own pin.

thanks i'll keep that in mind. i made something similar today at work i think they will work.
