they used to sell a window tinting product in a spray can. had some years ago and used it all up. i thought it was really great stuff. what was best about it was that you could use it on mirrors (in and outside), interior light lenses to soften the brightness, etc. does anyone know if it is still available anywhere? been looking and can't seem to find it anymore.

How did you manage to post this 3 times????

I was discussing this topic with a buddy of mine the other day....... he bought taillight covers that were tinted and was exploring options for front lights. He works in an auto store, and had had zero luck finding the old (spray window tint) he wound up doing a light coating of black spray paint.

a mod should delete the other threads.

ok, just checked it out on summit. not sure if i'll be able to use it on my mirrors or not. just wanting to cut down the glare from vehicles behind me at night. if this stuff needs light from behind it, it may not work. guess i'll just have to spend the bucks and find out.

Advance Auto carries it. VHT Nite-Shades.

oreilly auto parts has the vht night shade too. i saw it just yesterday. it is supposed to be for lenses though, im not too sure how well it would work on mirriors and windows

let me no how the mirror goes. I have some nite shade left over that I used on my thrid brake light lens, might have to try it out on my mirrors

i also have some the vht nite shade did pretty good on the tail lights and my interior light but not so sure how it would do on windows if yall try it i would like to know how it works

can you use that stuff on car windows and it look as good as the stick on tint?

dunno i hope so cause its cheaper than getting window tint put on or doing it urslef. on the vht site it says it can be added to fog lights, turn signals.http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/tes/tes2949.htm they sell the spray on window tint if anyone wants to give it a try
