Sport trac transmission

I am in need of a transmission. I found a cheap 2003 sport trac rwd transmission. My ranger is 2003 rwd but with the 3.0. if I swap bell housings would it be a complete replacement?

It appears they are the cover for the pump. The locations of the servos and pigtails look the same as well

Ah I'm not facilitated well enough to take that chance. And the transmission is only 150 less than one for my truck

I haven't seen one that does in a Ranger newer than the FM146. Kinda wish I'd kept that. It might've proven useful one day.

I believe the 146 is a manual. There is a video of a bell housing swap that includes lining up the pump to the bell housing which is required apparently? Maybe it's a different pump for the 55? At any rate, I've decided it's not worth the risk since I can't afford such downtime.
