Splash bed ?

I am looking to do some custom work on a bed off of a Splash.I understand the bed sides are glass.My question is how hard is it to find a bed without the sides or busted-up. and what can a person expect to pay?There is a bed localy on craigslist from the pic I can not see it all, no tail lights $500.I thought this was high for a project that the sides were not used on.Any imput would be greatly appriciated Ken N.

i found a replacement for mine after a tree jumpped out at me at a junk yard for 200 bucks.. it was pure luck though, all the other ones i was looking at were around 800..

Craig's List is yer friend! Look around other cities in your area. I look at Atlanta, Knoxville, Nashville etc.... Bigger cities have more parts and may be worth the drive.
