Hey guys,

Anyone know if spindles from a Dana 44 TTB will fit a 79 Dana 44 solid the smaller bearing ones.

thanks Dave

No they wont. The disc brake D44s have 5 bolt spindles and the TTB are 6 bolt

damn well thanks anyway for the help i guess my hunt continues for a set of spindles. Im trying to find a set of used ones cause im already in the hole now for about 1200 on parts for my Dana 44 swap. But i guess if worse comes to worse ill have to stuck it up and buy a new set.

I'm faced with the same dillema, either spend $85 a piece from JBG, or redrill the ttb spindles or try to swap the complete ttb knuckles. I would like to swap in later knuckles so I can keep my abs brakes.

Are you just missing spindles or are you missing everything from knuckles out? I may have extra spindles.

you can use the ttb spindles on the chevy knuckles, but the you have to have different knuckles
This is not true. Although they have the same pattern, the spindles don't allow for a backing plate to be placed behind them. If one were to use them ,all of the vehicle weight and load would be on the spindle studs. This puts all the shear load on the studs instead of them just being in tension. Do not do it. It is very dangerous.
