Take the speedo cable, stick it in the speedo hole, use the lil fork and bolt to keep it in the hole. You're done.

:icon_confused: Convertion ? :nono: "CONVERSION" ------------------- Whit ? :nono: "WITH" :buttkick::buttkick: :bye:

...and by "cable", I believe he means VSS, the electrical connector on the side of your stock Ranger trans, with a gear on the end. I don't think you '95 has a cable, but the connection to the trans is exactly the same.

Sorry baddad, you know that would have been the next question... ;)

:icon_confused: Never crossed my mind. :icon_thumby: Might be it runs off the rear anti lock brakes like my 95 E150 van did.

The rear VSS/speedometer started in Rangers sometime in '98 or later.

My '92 had a VSS and cable in the trans, my '97 has the VSS/no cable in the trans.
The Rangers with ABS have the ABS sensor in the rearend, and this controls the speedometer in later models, as mentioned.
