My 91 Ranger is having some speedo issues. Before i changed the ABS speed sensor it would read 10mph higher as soon as the ABS light came on, now it reads batshit crazy(45mph at idle in 1st gear. I have the worlds fastest Ranger apparently:yahoo:) for the first 15 miles of driving or until my first stop and always much higher.

As soon as i stop and start moving again it reads fine. Any ideas on what this is? I really dont want to take apart the dash if i dont have to nor do i want to take my chances at taking out the speed sensor bolt(i live in snow country and everything is rusty, the possibility of snapping the bolt is quite high) unless i absolutely have to.
