speedometer trouble

Hi everyone. i have a 96 B2300. My speedometer stoped working but the mile counter is still working. not sure want to try next Thank

I found that there is a (Vcc) Vehicle speed senor on the trans. unpluged it to see if that also controled mile counter and it did. so i do not believe it to be bad. thinking it must be in the dash now.

I would replace the sensor they are $15.......the symptoms for a bad vss sensor are varied

alright i tried the VSS and it wasn't it. anybody got the next move .,thxs
