So I was having a problem where my truck would feed gas to the engine when i had my foot off the pedal for quite a while, then I replaced the fuel filter and the problem went away for about 6months. well about a month ago it started happening again, and well about 3 days ago my abs light came on and my speedometer stopped working at speeds from 0 to 65 but works at any speeds above.

also i noticed that the engine gets more power and feel a kick once the speedometer starts working when im on the freeway, is it bad to be driving 55/60 w/o this extra power or w/e it is? another thing i noticed is the gas feeding problem still occurs when the speedometer is working, but not when it isnt.

sounds like a bad speed sensor. Mine is located on the rear axle, but my truck is a 93. The sensor makes your speedometer work, not sure if it would affect the abs and driving problems. If it is bad it will affect your speedometer.
