Hey all,

I've got a 1987 Ford Ranger XLT that I have as a project. nothing about the truck is actually original from the operating standpoint (302 HO, 9 inch lift, 33 inch tires, C4 transmission). I'm in the process of completely custom wiring the truck and I've gotten to the point when I can start wiring up all the gauges. I have the other gauges figured out, but I'm thinking of using a digital speedometer and I have one of the 2-wire ford vehicle speed sensors. How do I wire that up to say, an autometer or VDO speedometer gauge? i don't have the plug, but I can get one, but I need to know if one prong is hot or ground and one is a sensor wire and which one is which.

It's that type, but non-cable equipped
