Speedo Issues

Looking for some help:

My speedo and odometer have not been working for a couple weeks. Took it upon myself to replace the sensor that's connected to the transfer case. Still doesn't work. Suggestions? Do I need to pull out the dash and take a look? May it be electrical?

Unless they did something different with the B2, in 88 the speedometer and odometer were purely mechanical. Maybe check for a broken cable?

You need to check the drive gear on the transfer case, the cable, and the head. Spin all three by hand and find where things stop working.
