On my '97 RABS ranger, the flash code is 13 (12 short + 1 long).

That is the "Speed Processor Check" ABS code.

I've looked around online but can't find anything on what that actually means, or what to do :P

Any help? :D

Anyone have thoughts?
Or, where I can find what it means?
The Chilton and Hayes manuals also have no info on what this error codes means.

Any way of getting the codes pulled with a code reader?

LFC codes are often less detailed and less informative than actual DTCs.

"Speed Processor Check" seems like a module issue to me though.

For the 97 Ranger with Rear-ABS, this is not hooked up to the OBDII system; I found this out the expensive way :P

So the only way to get ABS codes is with flashing.

Alternatively, how would I go about trying to find a source for this information?

Bump anyone?
I could take to a mechanic, but i've always preferred to repair myself...
