Hi Guys, on my last post I was having some issues with my push button 4x4 system not working and so on. Today I grabbed a BG 1350 manual T-case from a pick and pull yard just to simplify the truck. So im about ready to put the truck back together and I noticed that the new t-case had a spedo cable with a gear on the end of it, while my broncos cable has square spindle type of cable. Has anybody had any experience with this while swapping transfer cases? the bronco I pulled the t-case out of had the old pre face lift style of dash and im wondering if I go back to the yard if i can use the cable from that truck or if i have to modify my instrument cluster to accept it, a whole lot of "what ifs".
side note, My bronco is an 89 (originally with an automatic and electric 4x4)
the current transmission is a FM145 from and 85 ranger
the new T-case is a BG1350 manual from an 87 BII
