The wife was heading to the airport early in the AM, doing 25 in an area where deer are frequently spotted....wouldn't you know it, TWO jump out and she can't stop in time.

She told me this when she got to her destination....says it just looks like the headlamp assemblies are shattered....both of them. &^#%^#!! deer both ran away, so I'm hopeful everything else is fine and new headlamps will solidly mount to the panel behind them. The airport is a good drive away so I'm waiting to see after she comes back.

that sucks, i hit a deer back in the summer going 35, busted headlights, shifted my hood about 1/3" to the passenger side, put a little crack in the grill. the deer ran away but there was some blood on my truck so i hope it died.

WHY CAN'T THEY JUST SIT STILL WHEN THEY HEAR A CAR!!!!

a friend of mine in a 2500 duramax slammed a deer at about 65.

yeah he pretty much needed a new front end. new rad, intercooler, tranny cooler, PS cooler, ac cooler, fenders, hood, bumper, lights, fan assembly, .....

and would you believe that the deer managed to get away too?

I hit a big one with my son's Mustang last spring.

Missed it as best I could but it crinkled the LF fender and driver's door.
It's not too often that dad wrecks son's car.

I'm surprised I haven't hit one yet.

A friend of mine bought a new Cobalt SS/SC back in June, couple weeks ago he was stopped at a stop sign and a deer just ran into the side of his car!

I'm 25 and I've hit 6 since I was 16. Now I have a big front bumper and I haven't even had a close call yet.....

Get out of here.......that's hilarious (except for your buddy's car damage.....I swear, big animal or not I'd try to get out and punch it!!)

If that happened to me I'd hope it was stunned long enough to grab the pistol out of the glove box. Figures it's deer season here and I haven't seen one of the elusive things yet this year, but everyone else seems to be hitting them on the road.

haha ya he chased it but failed.

My cousin just hit a deer a few weeks ago in his 1990 Camry with 380 000km. Messed the bumper, right headlamp, hood, right fender, right hand doors, bent the right A pillar, bent the roof up, dented the rear quarter pannel and messed the trunk lid up. The most amazing part is that the car was not a write off. He was pissed that the car wasn't a write off, he's been wanting to get rid of it for a long time.

I would take it to the most expensive shops I could find LOL
