I wouldn't recommend them, but they would work for at least a little while. Some have complained about them fouling out prematurely and also comments of them being the wrong heat range for the engine (mainly for the 3.0L).
IMO, the best plug is the standard autolight or motorcraft plug. There really is no need to spend the extra money. My mild 5.0L in my V8 swap has a new set of standard motorcrafts. I ran the same plugs in my "hopped up" 2.9L. I also run them in my Tempo. Also ran them in my old '87 Marquis.
I did run Bosch in a Sundance I used to have - 4 banger. And A/C Delco in a Chevy V8 262ci & V8 327ci.
