I have bigger tires now and dont really have any ideas on where to mount my spare. it wont fit in the stock place under the bed. any ideas/ pics?

lmc sells a bed mount for the spare, i think between one of the wheel wells and the front of the bed

on my 95, i adapted a b2 carrier to fit. I contemplated doing it on my 92, but the body lines, didnt quite line up. ive also heard of people adapting the james duff b2 bumper/ carrier to fit.

I just strapped mine to the front of the bed. Eventually I will build or by a bed cage that ties into an in-cab roll cage. I will mount the spare tire on that. Too bad Im in college and have no money for my truck right now..... Anyway here is a pic of my current set up. tire is 33"

I like it simple and easy. wish I had a roll bar. Ive got a tonneau cover for my rig and I just strap my spare to some tie down points that I put in for my dirt bikes. And with the cover on there grimey theives cant see it, although I will probably start using a cable style bike lock for added security....like your sig too.lol

I'm in the process of fabbing a bed mounted one using a spare axle shaft and some tube.

Something in the style of this:

A spare tire carrier with some modifications and some paint would do fine. I think my junk yard wants 40 for a spare carrier. Bastards.

i didn't want to give up bed space permanently so i welded a piece of strap across the bed ribs.i grabbed and cut/welded to length a large j bolt and wing nut from a 70's granada tire holder setup so its easy to completly remove.

put it over your rear axle for a better ride and more traction.
