Hi
I'm going to change the timingbelt on my 2000 Ranger 2,5, and v-belt since that most come off anyway. Anything else I should consider change as I tear this apart?
Where do you guys buy parts?
I live in Norway, and the usual partstores don't have parts for US Ford. I've bought some parts at the Ford dealer, but that's too expensive. Maybe I could try Mazda, since it's a Mazda engine?
Anyway, is it safe to buy from e-bay stores?
Or do you have any other suggestions?

Thanx :)

i have bought parts of ebay many times and never had a problem just takes longer to get to you and if you dont feel comfortable buying parts of ebay you can always google for internet part stores.

Always check the rating of the person or company youre buying from on ebay.
I have almost 300 buys online with no real problems.

Some different brands (and prices) shows up. How do they compere?
- Dayco
- Gates
- Beck Arnley
- ContiTech
- Al Delco
I found those on partstrain.com. Price ranges from 44.95 to 99.95!

I'm also looking for fanbelt, or what do you call it? The belt that runs alternator and ac.
