spare key

anyone know how much a spare pats key would run me at a dealer? I know I can get it for either $25 or $50 at my local hardware store, but I'd like to have a ford one. I could always just buy a blank on on ebay and have them cut and program it If the dealers significantly higher. Thanks

the 03 we have has Pats. so we just got a normal key made just to open the doors in case the master key is left inside. cheapier that way

There's an outfit I've seen in Southern NH called "Keys 4 Cars." Give them a buzz to see what they run.

I work at the Auto Auction of New England in Londondery, NH, and have seen them come in when a dealer "forgets" to leave a key with the vehicle. Last week, they did an '03 Explorer for us.

Even better, they're mobile & a AAA vender.
