The truck will turn over, I can turn the ignition to on and hear the relay click, try to start then just turn over. shot some starter fluid in and will start and run for a few seconds then quit. also i think it is the fuel rail there is a little schrader fitting to attach a psi gage I depress the gage and nothing comes out. I'm thinking fuel pump. suggestions?
thanks

Before you replace the pump swap the relay with another in the box, I leanrned the hard way, bad relay not fuel pump. for what it's worth

try resetting the fuel shutoff impact sensor up under the dash.................

Bird's test is free and very quick and therefore worth doing.

Beyond that, TEST. Get a voltmeter and find the voltage drop. A break ANYWHERE in the fuel pump circuit will disable it. And it's VERY likely to be problematic wiring.
