Somemore rangers im considering need thoughts/opinions

I like the last one too but, DANG!! - I ran it on Edmunds in "Outstanding Condition" for my zip and private party is $3468, Dealer $4547. How could a 10+ year old vehicle cost more in the north with winter salt on the roads than down here in TX? Makey no sense.

those are the national base price. once you add options, location, mileage, etc it goes up.

This is the edmunds I did.

they're all autos, unless you mean the 5 speed auto? I know 5 speeds are better but i dont know know to drive one yet. There will be one in my future, but not now.

Man i need a new truck, im having withdrawal:bawling:

Easy enough to put it in your future now. I bought my truck without knowing how to drive a stick. Had my buddy drive it from the previous owner's house to a big parking lot and told him we weren't leaving 'til I could drive myself. 20 minutes later I drove us through the drive-through window at Wendy's and then home.

If you think a manual is something you may want down the line, you might as well get it in your next truck.

because up here chances are it wouldn't last 10 years so it is considered an antique :D

Man - I'm gonna register mine as an antique in 3 years. 25 years - - good to go!

thats why i want it. it looks sooo clean and not rusty, they aint easy to come by. and neither is one with under 100,000mi.

Ok so guys, need some advice on buying this thing. Is it best to make a low offer and work up from it or work down? What do you honestly think they'd consider for it? I figure its worth a shot, but it still might be out of my price range. thanks

offer them and go up from your offer until they accept or u get to your max funds limit lol

how low should i go to start? I dont want to completely lowball

maybe start at $500 lower than the lowest KBB price for the lowest condition. that would put you in the ball park. it does appear to be in a dealer lot.

private party i assume?

basically hes asking 7k
offer him 4500 and go up from there
i think its private
