Ok I bought an 89 2.3 ranger, it will run great for a little while then going down the road it bogs down if you give it to much gas or try to go up a hill. Soon as you let off the gas it runs fine. Alot of the time if you just turn the key back then forward it runs great for a little while.
I bought it like this because I had this exact problem befor with my 4.0 and it was the MAF, well this doesnt have a MAF, so I replaced the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor. The old one look like it was burned, totaly fryed. I replaced it and its doing the same thing still. WTH?
Its as if when I turn the key back I reset the PC and it take min or 2 to notice something isnt reading right. Could an o2 do this?
