I am also not a doctor. last April I went in for a hernia and gallbladder surgery.

After the surgery my blood pressure was the highest i have Ever seen it. like 160/110 . the doc told me to get it investigated. in any case. I started keeping a log of my blood pressure for a period of 2 months.

No i never did find out why it jumped up like that but as the months went by and I kept recording it went down to borderline on its own.

My point is. get him to start a daily record of blood pressure including time and date. this is helpful for the doctor.

The doctor didn't find anything in the preliminary round. Listened to his heart and such, and told him everything sounds healthy. He'll be going in on Monday for some blood tests, checking to see if anything is low or high or whatever.

Something to check for, A very good friend of mine, and the one who helped me do my 95+ gage cluster removal thread and helped with other work on my truck has similar sounding heart issues.

His heart has an occasional, random, extra beat, and can when that happens it often makes him feel light headed. One time while trying to be romantic and carrying his girlfriend into the bedroom he actually did pass out! Dropped her on the floor, smacking her head on the door frame. Both of them got pretty bruised up actually. Ambulance came and he couldn't drive for a while and such.

I wish him luck in finding out what is wrong.

i duno what any of the symtpoms are ro anything but im 19 and last year i spent 5 days in the cardio...? (heart) ward it was called poly carditis (thats how its sounds probally spelt completly wrong) basicly my white blood cells were attacking my heart thinking it was a virus. i was told it was cause i ahd a flu that mimicked the tissues so it could go unnoticed by my immune system. it feels exactly like a heart attack and i got dizzy and my heart raced ( i think that was cause i thought i was having a heart attack though) in fact thats what everyone thought when they found me curled up in a ball in the front seat of my ranger.

but either way i hope they find out what is causing him problems and fix it. all the best man
