no coolant in my oil.

I have absolutely NO antifreeze in my oil when I change it and none on the dip stick and no bubbles or milky stuff in the oil at all BUT I do have some oil in my radiator/overflow container.

What would cause this?

Is it an automatic?
Do you have one of those fancy oil coolers that use the radiator as a heat exchanger?

Okay, you have a leak in the transmission cooler coil inside the radiator. A replacement radiator will fix you right up. Change out the trans fluid promptly as it is probably contaminated with antifreeze.
