found this site MAX TOOLS not sure if you guys have seen it yet but thought I wouls share. especially this page check out the fourth and fifth itmes on the page. Seems like one heck of a good deal to me.

never heard of them tho. The cut off tool and angle die grinder look like old designs from other manufacturers tho..

Speaking of good deals on tools... I got an electric die grinder from Menards last week for $9.99. It is Menard's Tool Shop series, and yeah, it looks kinda cheap, but it came with an extra set of motor brushes and a moveable handle for two handed operation.

Not too bad, although I have yet to see how it holds up under some abuse...

I bought Harbor Freights cheap 3" and 4" cut off pneumatic tools. Spent less than $30 with extra discs. And they work great for what I do in my garage. However, it would bug a lot of people......the tools were made in China.

Any tool not made in the USA is NOT a good deal!

You may save some money, but at the expense of good manufacturing jobs being outsourced.

Not sure if you know what a Whitney Punch is, but Harbor Freight's version is literally the EXACT same tool. I spent $20, not $70-80. I've been using it for almost 6 years on 24-16 guage galvanized and stainless sheet metal. The dies are have yet to show any wear. And when they do wear out, the "real" Whitney dies even fit in the "cheapo" tool. Apparently my cheap "made in China" tool has equal or better quality than the "American real deal".:rolleyes::rolleyes:
