Some dumb bikers

I have rode bikes all over the world and the U.S. Most of us a really great riders. Some really suck. Here is an example that happened to my wife and me at Beall's department store this afternoon. We were crossing in the crosswalk going back to our car and I use a cane to help me walk since I am a disabled vet. Cars are stopping as they are supposed to and then this idiot on his stupid Hog touring bike just throttles right in between the stopped cars and almost knocks me down. He brushed right up against me as he illegally cut in between the stopped cars. My wife yelled 'You stupid idiot' at the top of her lungs. The guy looks back and flips us off.

THEN...like Christmas time a Sheriff on duty in his car is watching the whole thing and pulls out in front of the biker and makes him stop!! Man!!!! Haaaaaaaa. I walk over to the cop and complain about the biker almost hitting us. The cop calls for backup and arrested the idiot for reckless driving and failure to stop and speeding through the shopping center. Maybe he will learn a lesson for this. Not all bikers are bad...just some of them.

Always gives you a good feeling when some asshole does something right in front of a cop.

I had no signs of being hit or it would have been really bad for the dude. He just brushed up against me and it could have been his jacket that he had unzipped...but not sure. But the cop saw what he did. The guy is about 45 and just really stupid looking. He looked like he was a real mouth breather and had the IQ of a fried clam!! We left while the cop was still talking to the guy and then another sheriff pulled up. The cop said he was being detained so I don't know if he is going to jail or not. The cop wanted to see if I had any marks on me and I said no and I did not fall down on the ground so I could not press charged against him. He most likely will just get a huge fine...maybe he will learn from this and not do it again. This just ruined our day. My wife told me to tell someone about and I would feel better...so, now I do....lol

I'm pretty sure that was my brother (they just moved to Florida ,Polk county I think) anyway he called me for bail and said the cops beat him up pretty bad.He said, "Some guy with a cain just ran out in front of him and the guys wife was screeming death threats!!". He must of been in a hurry to get to the Church where he was due to teach some "at risk" youth the "ART OF ZEN AND MOTORCYCLE MAINTANCE!!! He said he was REAL sorry,too.

I had my cell phone and did not even think about taking a vid of this!!!! Duh!!!

I never heard about him getting arrested so they I am sure he got a huge ticket and a fine.....hope he learns a lesson. He could have injured somebody riding like that.
