Some awesome standard cab installs

if you wanna get like into that realm id start looking into a blow thur set up

eh, even though i don't plan on selling this truck ever, i feel like that would hurt the value too much. and even though i never haul anything really, that's a feat in it's own...

i have to cut through my bed and my cab, get a tonneu cover that can lock w/ my tailgate, and that also means getting 2 12's or 15's or 3 10's or something, so it's like just a lot of money to invest, however it would be an awesome set up i'm sure... crazy bass is possible with a blow through.

I'd rather see you get a ranger with the jumper seats and extra room than ruin it with a 12" diameter hole from the cab to the bed

oh it's out of the question just simply because it would cost too much money

x2

i think its really stupid as well. iv seen some very nicely done. but i could never bring my self to do it.

maybe once i'm established in my career and have the money i'll buy a ranger that is nice enough that i don't need any body work or something and try it out. but that's another 20-30 years down the road. so it's okay lol.

can you imagine what the brand new 2030 ford rangers are gonna look like? lol (if we still have cars at that point *start dramatic music*)

i remember i saw on an audi forum someone cut a hole in the floorboard on the drivers side to drop an 8" woofer in there. 1 that ruined the car, 2 its a terrible idea, 3 winter/salt damage to the car and woofer, 4 never will be able to sell it down the road.

i can't believe you'd ever try that....

if anything, could you do something like weld a basically steel "basket" in the floor? put some heavy duty rust preventative chemicals on the bottom and inside, then dynamat or something and a baffle on the inside, sink the sub in? obviously a street only truck so you don't need that extra clearance?

it works in my head... but i'd never just have a sub sticking out of the bottom of my truck, wtf lol
