I wanna know how I can get something like that!!! On a few of his videos, he leans forward his seat, and has ring marks on the fabric from the sub, wouldn't that be bad for the sub to be hitting the seat everytime it hits a note?

But it seems to me this guy definitely knows his stuff... 5/5 stars for me

Yeah, if your sub is touching anything other then air like the back of a seat you can burn it out way fast.

his set ups seem pretty tight to me, it seems like other trucks besides rangers have way better standard cab set ups behind the seats...

Doesn't help when I'm only 5'10" and still need the chair all the way set back...

i'm about 5'11" and have it forward to help fit my box... do you have abnormally long legs? it feels "weird" (mostly just different) at first, but i've gotten a little used to it. it's a sacrifice i'm willing to make for bass.

yea S10s do get a lil ouder and are easier to make louder than rangers.

I just run excellent full-range speakers in my regular cab. That way I can still pile crap behind my seat and fit my 6'1" frame in there!

yep, im 6ft and had to get rid of that bench in favor of some '66 stang seat for more leg room, and now have a space between the seats for a nice 12'' woofer:headbang:

did you have to recover those? I'm wondering if it was a waste for me to buy my camaro seats that i have sitting in my basement... wondering if it will even be enough of a change that i have more leg room, if i do, more room in between (obviously i will because it goes from 60/40 bench to buckets, but if i have enough room to put my amp underneath the camaro seats, they seem like they sit low...

anyway, is there a way i can put a spacer in to raise my seat up an inch or so to allow for more clearance with an amp under my seat??

Well i recovered mine cause i got em cheap, but there great. More leg room and room between the seats.

Just put some washers under the seat track and lift it a little. Or some big nuts

lol big nuts...

Anyways, baxtej44- I feel cramped as it is... I do kinda have longish legs but fortunately, the system I'm building is a shallow mount 10" that doesn't require too big of a box, and I just plan to have it behind the passenger seat and mount the amps (one is sub only and the other speakers only) behind my seat or on the floor.

ya my camaro seats were only 75 i think... which might be cheap, but idk your definition lol.... but recovering them would be a breeze if my neighbor would ever go through with what she said... she's my neighbor and the sewing teacher at my school and has yet to fufill her promises of helping me reupholster them.... arrghh

i might try some big nuts (lmao) or some washers...

i've got a shallow mount 12 and the box ended up being too big on accident, but it's okay hopefully it will still sound okay cuz i'll be feeding it a little more power than the rms

i paid 5 bucks for the seats.

thats what i call cheap.

and the covers were like 100 on ebay.

but i descided im not using them. i got some new seats coming and ill post pics in my thread when i get em.

that's cheap, indeed. haha.

too bad you're so far away, otherwise i'd buy em from ya.
