The throttle pedal on my 1993 seems very light. Especially compared to my dad's 1992 jeep wrangler and my friends 1987 ranger. I put a new throttle cable but it just feels very light, is there a way I can fix this, does anyone else notice this?

I assume you don't have any slack in the cable at the pedal. If you do, do the zip tie mod. Other than that I can't think of what would fix it since a new cable should have done the trick.

I did put a few zip ties on it being the new one was slightly long, I also went and got the ford throttle cable for like $109

Are you sure you are not missing a "return" spring someplace?

Yours may be different from mine but I have a return spring right on the cable on the engine end.

Would the return spring be on the cable, or on the throttle body?

Add a light return spring attached to the throttle body. Ace or other hardware stores will have an abundant variety of springs.

I thought about that. I'll give it a try, what specifically would i hook it to?
