About a week ago, I was driving down the road thinking "man my truck is handling like sh_t!" I made a note to myself to check it out when I had a chance. So I finally got out there today to check it out and....

Due to the fact that I can't find any sway bar link sets that come with urethane bushings, I'm thinking about just making my own using Grade 8 bolts and the urethane bushing kit you can buy from advance auto. Have any of you ever tried this? If so, what size bolts did you use?

Also, what is the diameter of the sway bar itself? I figure I might as well replace all the bushings while I'm at it.

wow.... uve been sabotaged! lol

I'm starting to think the same thing....because on my way home from my friend's shop, I noticed a nice big 8" crack in my windshield with no obvious point of origin.:annoyed:

Are you serious?!
That to me is a common issue w/IFS Rangers and Exploders. I've seen so many broken links and trucks that have both broke isn't that uncommon either. I've never called the parts store and had them said they'd have to order any. Except Autozone, but they're horrible.

As for the poly links, I wouldn't bother. But if you must, the link kits can be found for as cheap as $10 a side, buy the kits then buy the bushings you want and put 'er together.

The kits that NAPA sells have urethane bushings.
