I was at the dealer looking at the options on the new Mustang for the up coming year....seems pretty impressive. The 5.0 is back, all new modular based, 32 valve, all aluminum with variable cam timing. Says its rated just over 400hp but I'm told that's a conservative number. Backed by a 6speed manual or 6 speed automatic. 0-60 in 4.4 seconds and clicks off a 1/4 mile around 12.7. He said the GT is to start close to $31k...look to pay between $35-40K for something on the lot. I thought that was a tad high for a Mustang GT but the options are nice....I'm placing my order soon.

Sweet. Bring it by my house for a test drive when you get it, okay?

Are you going with a droptop?
Did you sell your truck?

are those projector HID's i spy there?

Good choice! With that new six speed first gear and the 3.373 gears, get the same off the line acceleration as with the old ones and a 4.10 gear. Only complaint I've heard is the slow delievery. Motor Trend got about 385 RWHP from one so yes, they are quite a bit under rated. Enjoy!
