Looks good. I thought about doing this but the guys that do this for a living/fun (DipYourCar.com) says it only lasts about 6 months, less on wheels. That said, you can change color three times a year and make your truck look different each time!

Thanks. Also ya they are the ones who game me the idea to do it. But it cost me less than $20. So even if I have to redo it in 6 months it still looks way better.

I've had mine on my ranger for a couple years now and they still look great. The white shows brake dust pretty bad, but the black still looks new.

Where does it say that? Their FAQ says you can expect 3 years...

Fonzie mentions it in several of their videos. I've called and spoken with them. They're a cool bunch and easy to speak with. Inmate 'kunar' has had good luck for a couple of years now. Perhaps they were just being cautious.

I did something similar with mine about 10 years ago...only have one left since I did the swap and all, but the one I have still looks good...

Unless you do a lot of driving with the wheels submerged so they are spinning with grit around them like in mud or sand, should last a long time...

Nice work...

How do you refer to other registered members? I've used the term "inmate" on other forum sites. Seems to make sense..... :D

I think I see another ADVer here....

Someone has been hanging out on ADVRider for to long.

edit dammit, didnt see 2nd page...

I did this and it stated peeling 3 weeks later when i was washing them, i went to walmart and bought a can of 99 cent paint and did all four with that and it came out great and never peeled. I just replaced the wheels tonight with some steelys though

I took a wire wheel to the wheels first knocked off all the rough stuff then washed them real good then put a couple heavy coats on them think i used 3 and a half cans or so.
