ive got a 99 ranger with a 4.0. used to be a auto but i converted it over to a 5spd back in november.. ive got 2 problems. when i start it after its been sittting for a few days it runs rough. like its missing then it clears up. if i drive it everyday its fine.. only does this once it sits for a long period of time. has new plugs/wires all that snazzy stuff. any takers? 2nd problem i have found is that when iam idling in neutral. or clutch pushed doesnt matter what you do with the shifter, it it sounds like theirs a bunch of marbles in the bellhousing. it shifts, engages, disengages, moves Great. no problem. nothing appears to be loose. what do you guys think

answer to question 2 is probably the throwout bearing.

yea i did.. had to due to being in ny vehicle has to get plugged in and c/e cant be on. like i said it runs GREAT only after it sits for a while.. i do know its got cracked heads. bought the truck at 95k it sat for a year. drove it for a week and did head gaskets.. wasnt going to spend 800 on heads considering i just bought the hold truck for that price.. so i decided to run it untill i have a major problem.
