I think there both good deals. i can only choose one though. leaning on the 80 ford 1/2 ton cause i love the old school trucks.

People's, give me your advices. im only 17 years old so i dont knows much bout these cars/trucks... i wasnt even born then lol..

Thanks,
James

fames on the '80 150s are a bit iffy....the maverick looks pretty cool....if it were me,i'd go with that....don't see those every day anymore(least not around here)

I'm old enough to remember Mavericks on the showroom floor. They were a poor man's Mustang. It is few and far between to find one that's not beat to hell or rusted out.

Go look at it, test drive it and take lots of pics!

I'd go with the Maverick. In the end, there are plenty of us with our trucks who would gladly help you out if you needed something hauled!

No contest. If I had to pick between almost any truck or a Maverick that is in good shape, I'm taking the Maverick.

Maverick. its easy to find a old school pick up.

id rock the mav, there are a few around my town, and a few more at the wreckers

I gotta go against the grain and pick the 1980 F series. Good lookin truck. For the difference in price- $450 for the truck and $2000 for the maverick, you could put 1500 additional $ into the truck and have a super nice, dependable ride. Do the work yourself. Your not likely to see an identical one on the road.

i dunno man. im thinking the maverick but for $450 id go take a good look at the truck. its all up to you if yuo want a truck or car, id take the car but the truck is decent to

the truck is a good deal, but being an '80 it has the swiss cheese frame.not one of ford's better ideas.

My Dad had a Comet GT when I was 16 - learned how to drive in that car. Go for the Maverick and turn it into a 1/4 mile car:3gears:

Truck post was gone, But there are plenty of trucks under 2000 bucks. Screw the car, buy a truck.

I say Maverick and drop a 302 in it.

get the car, those are nice ones, long lasters if you treat them right =) (meaning NO ACCIDENTS!!!)

I suggest your first upgrade would be new seatbelts (up to date), and airbags in the near future, those things were death traps.
