So ends an era....

Beautiful truck. That color always looks good

Nice man. I knew you’d come around eventually.
I drive a 2017 F250 everyday to work. They really are nice trucks. I hope it treats you well.

Is that a 6-3/4’ bed?
Yes it is. Yesterday before i found this one i drove a supercrew with a 6 3/4 bed and i didnt realize just how BIG these bastards are. I figured the hassle of parking one with an 8ft box wouldnt outweigh the benefit. Besides i doubt ill use the box alot anyways. I got enough trailers layin around lol.

It is a really nice truck. When i went looking yesterday i found a 2014 lariat but it was steel (rust) and had a weird noise when i started it. I went across to the chevy dealer they had a 19 XL i drove and like it but it looked like itd been worked....hard.

This truck was a good mix of what i liked about both trucks.

I do have a question though..where can i get a tri ball hitch for a 2.5 in reciever?

The 6-3/4 box is plenty for a normal homeowner. You really don’t need the 8’ unless it’s a true work truck, farm truck, or something similar.

That truck shipped from the factory with a reducer sleeve to drop it to a class 4. If you don’t need the class 5 hitch, which you don’t with a tri-ball, just get a sleeve.

We have a Crew Cab F250 with an 8' bed at work. I like the truck but I'm also glad I don't have to navigate a parking lot with it.

Thats what i read. Honestly i plan on keeping it till im to old to drive or croak. Whichever comes first

That things with all the computer doohahs will poop out no probably about it. You’ll have to go back to rusty.

the AC that controls the TPMS will stop communicating with the trunk release. Then it’s all over but the crying.

car dealers make all their money on people like you. 100k is end of life for modern vehicles, but they still charged you 35k for it.

after you dump another 25k just to keep it on the road for the next 50k miles, the next guy ‘ll get a hell of deal when you worked out all the issues.

shouldn’t’a bought anything newer then eeciv after that it’s all downhill like chinaman garbage.

LOL! I'm going to assume that's all ragging on Rusty in the vein of the thread. 100k for a modern diesel is just getting broken in. Sure there are teething issues on the newer electonics, but on a 2017 most of those should be well sorted.

I've seen/read that one. It doesn't end like they think. The 300 is strong, but it eventually one of the others comes back and beats it's ass. Pretty certain it's one of the SBCs based on the girl beside him. Granted it's after that SBC gets bored, stroked and a lot of performance upgrades, maybe even forced induction and nitrous, but the 300 was already built to peak performance at the first encounter.

I’ve actually been considering cutting up some 351 heads to make a cross-flow head for my 300 when I rebuild my F-150…

WTF!! Did the Earth reverse rotation???

Somebody call NASA.

So...

While you're on the phone with NASA I've got a question you could ask them about that.

If the poles flip, then North becomes South and South becomes North. Logically East and West would also trade places. Does that mean that the earth has technically reversed direction of rotation?

Also the process of the poles flipping will theoretically wreak havoc on the ozone layer, environment, and weather patterns. Assuming that the human race survives all of that, what would be done about existing maps and/or compasses?

Just flip them upside-down. Come on, man. You can figure this out.

I ain't worried about me, I'm worried about all those other idjuts out there that can't read a map.

Considering how well they follow one now, maybe they'll do better after they flip it over.

The sun is going to rise in the west tomorrow.

Well...ol rusty has finally given up on pushrod V8s, twin I beams, and clinton era and earlier rigs...

Twin I beams woulda saved you money... you still get them in 2wd F-250/350

2wd 'zilla would have gotten half your list...

Nice minivan. :icon_thumby:
