So check this crap out!!!

When you left you checked the milage of the truck and then checked it when you got back, right? How many miles were on it when you got back? Was the truck wrecked by your brother? You need to maintain your truck, which you do not. You blame your brother for ALL of the issues and I said I did not think he was responsible for all the issues. You need to grow up.

Stray... you grumpy ol bastard.:D

So when your brother borrows your truck, hits a curb and bends a rim it's because YOU are a bad driver. Got it? Good.

That is called an accident. He never stated what was really done to the truck and if he DID maintain the 2000 Ranger which is an older truck. I really think he needed to do some maintance before his brother drove it. If his brother did do all what he stated on purpose, then his brother should pay for the damage, right?

Maybe I am paranoid but I would consider changing the locks and ignition before your next deployment. Stray is dead wrong your bro needs to make reparations I can remember the time I went to Alaska working on a processor, I told my brother he could use my truck 1974 bronco. when I got back he had beat the crap out of it, when I checked the timing he had it set at around 30 dbtdc said it run better. Lessen learned I never let anyone drive my vehicles unless I am in the passenger seat period.

Processor aye, translated does that mean slime line?

if i had to leave my truck for a long time, id put it up on concrete blocks and take and hide the ECM somewere where a lower IQ family member wont look, like behind the books on the book rack.

Out dutch harbor offloading crab into brailers and throwing boxes in the freezer.:dunno:

Good idea about that. I have been gone for deployments and I have let family and friends use a vehicle or two. Nobody ever messed them up. When I was in Kabul, Afghanistan back in '86 for a mission my dad would take my 83 4x4 Ranger out to the wilderness at least once a week with his 18 ft flats boat and never caused a single issue. When I got back my truck was detailed and it was serviced for me by my dad. He borrowed my 'Vette one week while I was deployed and he and my mom went to Naples, Fl to go on a vacation.

Well don't we all wish we had siblings like yours:D

Well Stray, I did take the milage and he drove the truck over 3,000 miles. Like I said, I never would have expected him to do that to my truck and yes the truck was meticulously maintained by me. And if I had let my dad use it, which I did when I was sent to Belgium for 3 years, he took great care of it for me until he could get his ranger workin right.

Well, since my truck is old enough to sell without a title, my dad sold mine on me to a friend of his while I was in basic! I got it back, though.
