OK hows it going everybody. here's some info on my truck
1999 Ford Ranger XLT Step-side 3.0L V6 5spd. Bone-stock but has a CAI on it. Just rolled over 61,000
Last night on the cruise (here in Lawton, OK is like basically a street racing event every Friday&Saturday Night deal) You can take basically from a bone stock truck/car to a souped up cobalt with a supercharger or whatever you want.
So any-o. i was sitting at the light. a white Chevy pulled up beside me. rev. i revved mine as well. im running true duals on my truck ( had to relocate the gas tank in-order to do so) i revved as high as i could go. my truck was still a little bit on the cold side and was warming up. i look back and a buddy yelled i had like a really small puff of white smoke coming out. i just assumed that it was cause the engine was cold. i took off the line and smoked the Chevy (GO FORDS!) and after that went on home and went to bed.
Called my buddy and told him about it, he said might be a blown head gasket. BTW- i checked my oil. it doesn't look milky. i changed it bout 300 miles ago. antifreeze levers and radiator were full. exhaust had no moist or condensation coming out. What could that have been?
Thanks,
James
