FINALLY got my 5.0L running like it's supposed to. Only took a year....:annoyed:

Went out and had a pretty good day romping in the snow with my pal running a stock B2 on 32's.

Always a good feeling when they are running correctly isn't it? Looks good......

Ya I was having a good laugh to!

So happy, one of the injector wires had gotten mangled in the 60 pin. Hard problem to track down.
Spark, check
compression, check
fuel, well, all the other cylinders were getting it. Why not #5, stupid wire....
Got er' figured thought!

I aired down to 10psi and roared up any hill I wanted to, no questions asked.

that landing looked like it hurt a bit.. Nice b2s

Thanks!

Trucks look good, how are those radius arms holding up? :thefinger:

I thought I was tired of it, but I bet you guys are really sick of winter!

Radius arms are MINT, thanks for asking :D Also, I slid an 8.8 in the back, threw in some 4.88's, and an ARB up front. First trip out with the ARB I promtly blew up both front u-joints, BANGBANG. Lesson learned about the radius arms, then a few trips later I tried to rip off my drivers side beam drop bracket. Trailered home and repaired that. The more I ponder on it, the more I think I really need to re-enforce that thing, and I figured out what I'm going to do for said re-enforcement. I'll feature it later.

Winter? I'm enjoying this winter, infact, it's snowing right now. 2" tonight they say. It has been a pretty plesant winter for us. I'm REALLY excited about this summer thought, I've hooked up with a wicked club, and some of my friends are building up their rigs. (I'll be the only one with V8 POWA' thought, :D ) Gonna be a good one

Thanks for the kind words fellas.

from what i've seen this year the iroks do pretty good in snow.what are you running now? 35's?

very nice, that looks awfully the same as fort mcmurray LOL.

guess being 500 km east of here doesnt make the boreal forest change a whole lot heh.

what kind of range do you get with that 5-0? beaking trail in the mountains this year my truck was a pig but it worked out since it snowed so much we thought we were going to get stranded in the high country.a guy i wheeled with didn't get more than 50 miles with his 460 powered big bronco on the trails.

weird thing was my bro's tj with a 2.5l got worse mileage than me(with an auto tranny)

but a buddies 85 yota only used a half tank the whole trip on his 22r(and he was following not breaking trail)

I can't accurately tell you, I havn't put in a full day of snow wheeling. But I know it does eat the fuel, huge amounts of wheel spin in the snow/hills, and tires at 9 psi need alot more power. I have put in full days in the summer and didn't have problems. I was even running rich in the summer drinking extra fuel.

lane thats dope. im glad your project turned out wicked. i went to a pits party and luke was there lil later went wheeling then decided to stop . then i wante dto park soemwheres else so i backed through my trail and went over a log and bent my lower frame, tbar mount , exhaust pipe. hopefully not my frame since the passenger door has a gap now
