i have a bunch of tubing and i want to make a snorkle for my 83 ranger 2.3 carbd. do i have to use the stock air filter housing? do they make a kit. this truck is on 7" lift and 33" thornbirds., it will see mud and water up to the wipers at times. i want to make sure the engine is safe.
any ideas would be great guys

Never seen a snorkeled carb myself...but I'm sure someone has tried it...you might have to run it out the hood though...lol!

Main problem with that setup would be the seal on the carb itself...mine doesn't actually seal completely with the breather attached...and all those breather tubes (if you have them still) would have to be sealed really well...
