i want to smoke out my lights, not the fronts but others. i have my tail lights smoked out from the previous owner, but how do i smoke other lights out without using a gun and still having it look good? any comments would be appreciate

but yeah be carefull. too dark and the cops will pull you over.

Please don't... seriously... it makes it harder for people to see you in adverse conditions such as snow, rain, and fog.

I agree, don't do it. People with those smoked lights have pissed me off to the point where I've contemplated rear ending them just to sue for the hell of it.

he already has his taillights smoked...and he said he doesn't want to do his headlights...so what exactly are you asking him not to do???

use the spray, smoke your front turn signals to match, and call it good...
its YOUR truck, you can customize it however you'd like...

just my opinion...

I understand his taillights are already smoked, but he may as well leave it at that.

My point is when I drive a truck with 2000lbs in the bed 12-14 hours a day for a living and I can't tell whether or not the guy in front of me is stopping or shifting lanes/turning, I get a little pissed.

If you want to put fugly rims or body kits, anything you want on a vehicle, go for it. Because as you said, it's your vehicle, customize it as YOU want. But when it comes to letting other drivers know what you're doing, don't be a dick. If you have tail lights or any other lights that are smoked out and I accidentaly rear end you, my company has a fleet larger than most militaries and their high dollar lawyers WILL prove you at fault. Help yourself to customizing your truck but don't do it at the expense of every other driver on the road.

my tail lights were done right, you can see the turn signals and my brake lights just fine you press on the brakes. and btw , you dont have to get pissed at me, and i have never been pulled over by a cop and i have never had anyone complain about it. i just want to finish what the previous owner started because it looks pretty cool

If you can see them just like normal I have no problems with it. Check out foroffroaddriving's thread, he's smoked a couple lights on his truck and done a fine job of it, as best I can tell through the pics.

Just keep it visible.

Reducing visibility because it looks cool doesn't sound very smart to me.

You can do the night shade stuff. I honestly don't know why everyone has a bee up their azz about it. I just did mine, looks AWESOME! and guess what it shines through just as easily as it did before, the trick is top put down 1 JUST 1 medium coat on followed by a couple layers of clear and it shines through just fine. Infact I was driving the other day in a fog bank and I asked the guy behind me if he could see my lights and he did just fine. I hate it when people put smart guys in with the idiots that spray 50 coats on their lights.

ya, ive done it, nice light coat, and if u do it properly and it looks good inspections wont even blink about it either since they have all the new already tinted lenses being sold all the time
