smoke and liquid?

my brothers 4.0 is been acting up lately. when he drives it a lot of white smoke comes out and what appears to be green liquid(coolant) coming out the tailpipe. he's gonna do a leakdown test on it. but if any of you have had any problems like this before. which is more likely, a cracked head or a blown head gasket?

it could also be an intake gasket. might as well start taking the heads off.
