Smell Antifreeze

MY 97 RANGER PUTS OF A SMELL OF ANTIFREEZE BUT I CAN FIND NO LEAKS ANYWHERE IT ONLY DOES THIS 50% OF THE TIME I HAVE REPLACED THE TSTAT 2 MONTHS AGO DUE TO LEAKING ANY COMMENTS WOULD HELP THE LEVEL OF THE ANTIFREEZE GOES DOWN VERY LITTLE AND IT TAKES A FEW WEEKS TO NOTICE THE LEVEL DROP :headbang: REMEMBER:HOLD ON TIGHT TO YOUR BEER WHEN YOU MASH THE GAS:headbang:
 
My sisters explorer is the same way but cant find any leaks but the fluid level doesnt drop.
 
I had this once. It turned out to be leaking a tiny amount from around the little hose at the top of the plastic overflow tank on the right-hand fenderwell, just enough to smell.
 
Look where the lower intake meets the heads. Both sides, front and rear. I have had two 4.0s leak at this spot.
