Wouldnt think of it lol
My credo
Git or done
If a return line from the moter to the fuel tank is defective will it effect the fuel pressure to the motor from the supply line. ? My gut feeling is yes. Am I correct ?

No...

Fuel pressure at the injector is determined by the fuel pressure regulator. The return line to the tank is downstream from the regulator.

Yes. I am just going to spend the money to refurbish the entire fuel suppy and returns line. End of problem. The bed is being temporarily removed for further investigation which will make for easy access. New tank straps. The whole 9 yards. Did you know the phrase " the whole 9 yards" came from the days of useing coal for heat. It was a standard measurement of coal. True story.

+1 ^^^ to Uncle Gump

IF(big if)................its a 1997 or older Ranger that has the FPR on the engine

Yes. I believe it's right there where the fuel enters the injection rail. Sure looks like it

1997 and earlier FPR looks like a small "can", has the fuel return line AND a vacuum hose attached

Fuel comes IN directly to the fuel rail on another fuel line that comes from the fuel filter and pump, the FPR holds 40-43psi pressure in the fuel rail using a spring and diaphragm in that "can", engine off pressure
When engine is running the vacuum pulls against the spring in the FPR, reducing pressure to 30-35psi, this is to make fuel pressure steadier, at idle vacuum is high and fuel demand is low, when accelerating vacuum is low and fuel demand is high
So the vacuum assist helps maintain stable pressure based on demand for fuel and engine load

Got shut down. But not before someone actually payed attention to my inquiry. Lots of advise from different folks but could get them on the same page. Just today I caught someone s attention.. just in time.

@SmartMax1 ... lets not go down this road again.

Please...

In the future... ask clear questions. Because honestly I'm still not exactly sure what you want... seriously. It's a dag gum fuel line.... on a 94. Look at it... figure out the parts you need. Find them... they are everywhere. You've spent more time asking then just going out and fixing it. We simply can't fix it for you over the internet.

I got an answer today. This responder knew exactly what I was asking for. And it was not about fixing anything for me. It was not about what to watch on a video. It actually was an answer to a question I repeated multiple times. The torch was a something I never expected. But then again.... it is what it is.

OK... then lets just drop this one... and move on.

Go fix your fuel line.

You sound like you need a vacation...

Oooo! Was it me?!?!

Was the answer 42?

No. But 19 finally saw the light. Rumor has it that I need to work on my communication skills. I dont know. How did 19 figure it out? I plainly said multiple times that removing what ever way I saw fit was not the problem. I said clearly that it was replacing whatever I needed and where to get. Before someone sent me message 19 my plan was to take my pictures to an auto supply . Message 19 basically answered what a salesman would of showed me.
