The small relay box next to the large one on the driver's side is loose, only being held by the cables that go into it. The cover is also loose. I don't want to replace the entire box. Any ideas on how I could fix it in place? I don't want to just wrap a zip tie around... thanks!

If the original plastic retainer is broken....

1. Zip-ties
2. Duct tape
3. Electrical tape
4. bungee cords
5. Ratchet strap
6. Vice grips
7. C-Clamp
8. Train a squirrel to hold it.
9. De-pin and disassembled. Find suitable locations to drill holes through it and bolt it to the bracket. Then re-assemble.
10. Replace completely.

8. Train a squirrel to hold it.
I wouldn't count on that solution. Just ask p-nut what the gubermnt does to trained squirrels. They might decide they want to test your truck for rabies as well due to contact.

Curious you forgot bubble gum as well.

I think I would go with the de-pin , disassemble and find suitable places to drill drew holes option.

However you do it be gentle with.

Reporting back:

- The squirrel ran away. Left a message: "Nuts!"
- Bubblegum got stuck in engine. Didn't fix the fuse box; fixed another problem, though.
- Glued myself to the hood. Kinda hard to drive now over 30. Not like it was easier before.

Gonna try the other options in the list. Thanks!

I'm happy to report again:

- The squirrel is back. He slammed his bedroom door, muttering something about a larger allowance.
- The head gasket was almost gone, but now it's not leaking anymore. Everytime I hit the gas, though, I feel a faint bubblegum smell.
- I unstuck myself from the hood, and to my surprise, I almost got up to 45. I was happy, but then I noticed I was going downhill. Oh well.
- Zip ties did the trick. It was not the most elegant solution, but it worked.

Thanks a bunch, folks!

Your welcome for the encouragement it's the least I can do for all the help I've gotten from the TRS family.

Good luck in the future.

Thanks a bunch, folks!
I actually need to do that on my Superduty. That little 3-relay box is just laying on top of everything on the inner fender.
