Seriously check the weight and balance before doing this. Relatively narrow wheel width and 1200 to 1600lbs placed that high makes a very unstable truck. You probably don't want to try this.

i got an 07 summit 800r
..i was thinkin that also but but what if i put in an add-a-leaf or even an air bag kit??

Most 1/2 tons aren't up to par to have that much weight up that high and they have a wider track width. If you can't pull a trailer, I would suggest doing a custom flatbed.

Your thinking something like this only with sleds right?

Haha you should see my truck with my Yamaha in the back. Just one snowmobile and it sags bad lol.

yep, bad idea....... flat bed better, trailer best.

I don't think so. It'll be 8' wide and 9' long and that's going to stick over the sides of the truck almost 1 foot and a half per side and be 3 feet longer than the truck bed.

Taking the bed off is easy. I like the flatbed idea, you could take it on and off. The truck can handle the weight, just not like that.

I'm pretty sure I saw that exact same truck with those two four wheelers on it in Wisconsin last week. I'd never seen one of those before that.

My father has a custom rack that puts two 4 wheelers facing sideways ACROSS the bed. They don't hang over the sides of the truck, but his truck is a Silverado 4dr longbed.

this just doesnt sound like a good idea..i'd hate to see a nice truck and sleds rolled over let alone your own safety..go with a trailer
