i was wondering could any one tell me the steps in replaceing a slave cylinder in ford ranger 2.3 liter do u have to have any special tools etc? Im have problems getting it in gear and my clutch pedal is kind of hard or spongy if that makes since mybe just need to bleed it or if u have any answer please reply? THANKS

up in resources is a bunch of how- to's regarding clutch cyl maintenance. if you search there are about another dozen ways to bleed.

You need I believe a 10 mm 6 pt socket and an assortment of extensions, a bit of patience and some beers for later. Beers are optional. This is for an 87/88 with an 84 external slave.
