recently I installed a skyjacker 6" and opted to get the new leafs. I replaced the factory blocks with longer shackles to reduce axle wrap. I got stuck real bad last weekend and now it seems the axle isn't straight and the leafs are discombobulated. I don't know if the welded spider gears added extra tension to the springs or something and twisted it.
Anyone have this or something similar happen to them

It's common for the overload leafs to become splayed out on SJ leafs, however the rest of the leaves should remain straight (the OL leaf issue can be solved with a washer & a couple nuts threaded down the u-bolt and tightened alongside it to hold it straight).

the leafs are supposed to be straight?

Lol I gave up long time ago trying to keep them straight.

OP post up a pic so we can see what exactly is happening.

Definitely sounds like your center pin is broken or loose. Stick a socket on it through the u-bolt plate and see if you can turn it.
