i was to make a skid plate for my 96 4x4 ranger its only got 2in coil spacers. just wondering if anyones has made one. with can can give me some pointers? i wil also be useing the stock bumper.

almost not worth putting one on with the stock bumper ( they are so thin and flimsy ) ......
but if ya do, you need to add a new crossmember in front of or to the factory one ( the one that is in front of the streering box ) to have a flat place to mount the back end of the plate to....

yea i was thinking that cross member was in the way
