There are many, many areas around here where U can hit "seek" or "scan" on FM and it will just spin and spin and spin around without any reception. Once U do get to an area with channels (10-12 max is all) they are almost always something U wouldn't listen to unless you were very old, a brainless teenie bopping teenager or you were being tortured against your will. XM is the only way to go where I'm at period!!
